We live in a culture that taught us to think more than we feel. To solve with our minds what was born in the body. To ignore discomfort, to anesthetize emotion, to grit our teeth and keep going. But the body doesn’t forget. Every tension, every symptom, every forced silence… it accumulates there. In the organs, in the skin, in the breath. The body holds the emotional memory of our deepest beliefs, our most painful experiences. And when we don’t listen, it screams.
Our work is to accompany processes where the body is listened to and can release and reconfigure itself. Where every tension, every block becomes a map to something deeper: the invisible stories that inhabit us.
And there appears another more subtle, but just as powerful, imbalance: the lack of harmony between the feminine and the masculine. Not as roles, not as stereotypes. As internal energies that, when disconnected, create conflict, confusion, chaos, or emptiness — within oneself, and then in the relationship.
Because a healthy relationship cannot exist if we are fragmented within. The other does not come to complete us, but to reflect us.
We facilitate all of this in a living, honest, natural space. Our ecological retreat center, Aldea Bamboo, immersed in the jungle and just steps from the sea, is not just a place: it is part of the process. Nature here is not decoration; it is medicine. The song of the birds, the humidity of the earth, the rhythm of the waves, the absence of artificial noise… everything cooperates to help the body regain trust, feel, and relax.
Your nature is your body, listening to it is being present, and there lies your truth.
